Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors by WildeckWildeck's line of WilLift Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRC's) provides a cost-effective and safe means of moving materials (only) between different elevations. The product line includes both hydraulic and electromechanical units designed to meet the specific needs of any material handling project. WilLift VRC's are used in diverse applications ranging from moving pallet loads, carts or small bins of stock up and down from a mezzanine, to automatically conveying materials in process from robotics assembly cells to various storage and assembly areas on other floors. WilLift VRC's are not elevators, but are conveyors included under the scope of a national consensus safety standard ANSI/ASME B20.1 (Conveyors and Related Equipment). WilLift VRC's are safer than using a forklift truck or manpower to move materials between levels and are less costly to operate and maintain than elevators.

The carriage platform is rated at 3,000 lbs maximum capacity. Wildeck's VRC can be custom engineered for light to heavy weight applications. This unit
has bi-parting swing gates, with a power disconnect box located
nearby. The call/send control box allows the operator to send
the pallets up or down to the different catwalk levels.

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor in a Catwalk Shelving Storage System The vertical reciprocating conveyor can be used to lift carts with files between the catwalk levels in this multi-level shelving storage system. When using the lift, the nearby vicinity of access stairs helps to keep the travel distance of employees at a minimum, saving time and money. As seen in the photos below, the vertical lift carriage is enclosed by heavy duty steel doors and side panels. To prevent accidents, the lift does will not move until the door is securley closed.
