Rack supported mezzanines are engineered for different seismic areas. To meet the customer’s storage needs, this mezzanine floor was designed to store 80 PSF (pounds per square foot) in a seismic Zone 4 - most of California.
We created a solid wood floor to work well with the small casters on the audio equipment. We added fall protection around the edges of the system to prevent injury.
This rack supported mezzanine was built with used pallet racks, along with new lumber and b-deck.
