Avison Young is a global real estate advisor. They provide global insight, local market expertise, and access to some of the smartest technology in the commercial real estate industry. Operating out of the building, they also manage this high-rise located in Downtown San Diego.
PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK
Turn-Key Completion of Custom Bike Cage Allowing Secure Storage for Bike Commuters.
Managing this commercial high-rise, Avison Young wanted to encourage bike commuting to work with secure storage for workers’ bikes. The building takes up the entire footprint of available land, with a parking structure below. The only available space to provide a secure cage for commuters’ bikes was in the parking garage, which had a 7° slope.
C&SS worked with PGAL, a local architecture partner with Avison Young, to submit for permitting of the bike cage prior to construction. Once design was finalized and agreed upon with Avison Young and PGAL. C&SS collaborated with WireCrafters to ensure the custom design would be manufactured to specifications.
