Large Supply of Standard and Custom Size Wire Decks

We have a huge selection of wiredecks since they are one of the most popular accessories for pallet rack systems.

For pallet racks, we carry both step style and flared (universal) style. Wire deck sizes vary depending on the pallet rack upright depth and the beam length. We can help design custom decks for your rack and shelving project. Visit our wire mesh deck page to view the different styles.

Pallet Rack Decking and Fire Department Code Requirements

Notice that open grid wire decks enables better flow from fire sprinkler above on the ceiling.

Since wire decks are not solid decks they meet most Fire Department requirements. Many other types of pallet rack decking, including plywood, particle board, and other lumber surfaces can be used for certain applications, but may need special upgrades such as in-rack sprinklers. We have strategic partnerships with fire consultants to make sure the storage systems we design and install meet local codes and regulations.

Load Capacity – Heavy & Light Duty Wire Decks

Maximum load signs are placed on specific areas to inform warehouse personnel about load capacities on racks.

Wire decks are available in many configurations. The number of cross struts, the gage of wire, the spacing between wires, and the quality of production all contribute to the load capacity of each wire deck.
